Welcome Message from Kathleen

Welcome to God Plus Military Spouse website. I began writing military Bible studies around 2007. When I started writing for military wives, I would have said that the military spouses had special needs that required special writings. As my civilian friends began to read my books, their responses were all the same. Even though the terminology was written for military, the Biblical applications were the same.

As God is expanding my ministry, I have come to an understanding that God is a God that meets all needs, according to His will. As humans, we get tunnel vision and begin to focus only on our surroundings. My prayer is that I learn to stop limiting God. Military spouses have such an opportunity to move throughout the world and tell people about how God has moved in their lives. Christians in general can witness at home with their daily lives showing others how great our God is. No matter what walk in life, God has placed you where you are for a reason. Your gratefulness in your life will speak volumes about how you feel about God's will.

For my military spouses, I hope that my writings help ladies bring God into focus. Without God in our lives, we become weak and ineffective. Being a military spouse for twenty- two years, I can say without pause that the military lifestyle will suck every ounce of energy from you, if you are not grounded in God.

For my civilian spouses, I hope my writings also bring you to focus on God. There may be more freedoms for you without the government telling you were you will live and constantly borrowing your husband but there is still great unknowns and securities these days. Life may feel unfair and there may be confusion about God's will for you and your family.
